Lea graduated Magna Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in May 2024, earning a dual admission accelerated Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in International Crime and Justice. Her academic journey equipped her with a strong understanding of criminological theories, which she integrates into contemporary analyses of transnational crime. As a Global Diplomacy Initiative Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research from January to July 2023, she collaborated with senior diplomats and experts, deepening her insights into global security and the intersection of human rights and diplomacy. At the Social and Labor Convergence Program from August 2023 to April 2024, she focused on labor rights, environmental, social, and governance practices, human rights due diligence, corporate social responsibility, and corporate accountability, engaging with non-governmental organizations and policymakers.
